What does Sweden associate you with? The Battle of Poltava, the ABBA Group, the Swedish Family or the Swedish Wall? And it is also the birthplace of Anna Johansson, a doctor who has made a real revolution in nutrition by introducing a diet such as the "6-petal diet".
The essence of diet
You can calm down immediately, you do not have to eat only six petals a day, the diet is more varied and in principle does not include eating flowers. Although Dr. Johansson promises that in a week after her diet you can lose 5 kg, which seems like an incredible result.
One petal is one day of the diet, when you can eat only a certain amount of one type of food. The order of the days is important, so you can even draw a flower with six petals, write down the number and serial number on each menu and follow the recommendations.
That, by the way, is the convenience of this diet. No need to guess what to eat. You clearly know your diet for the next few days.
This is somewhat monodized, but the body does not have time to get used to one type of food and switch to energy-saving mode. In addition, studies have shown that monodiets lasting less than a day are most effective for burning fat.
The results of this diet are achieved by changing protein and carbohydrates and reducing the number of calories consumed. Eat one type of food every day and do not mix protein with carbohydrates, which allows you to break down fat more efficiently.
How can you cook
Food can be cooked, stewed, fried or steamed, but it is strictly forbidden to fry or add oil. In addition, the author recommends limiting coffee consumption to 1-2 small cups a day. Of course, without sugar. According to her, tea or mineral water without gas is better to drink at least 1, 5 liters per day. But under no circumstances should you drink liquid food only 30 minutes before or an hour after a meal.
And so that the feeling of hunger does not overcome you, divide the whole dish into 4-5 receptions. And you don't have to stick to certain intervals. Wanted to eat? Went and ate. Well, or drank green tea.
You can follow a diet for two weeks in a row. But don't forget to take a break of at least two weeks before your next attempt.
Against this background, the diet is contraindicated:
- Pregnant woman;
- breastfeeding mothers;
- With diseases of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, endocrine system (especially diabetes);
- With anemia;
- With infections or immediately after illness;
- Exacerbation of any chronic disease.
And yet, although this is not a direct contraindication, you will find it difficult to follow such a diet if you work. So it's better to set it aside for vacation.
Flower diet - a petal every day
And now let's take a closer look at what this Swedish lady came up with.
On the first day, it is recommended to eat only fish, but not more than 500 grams. Of course, this should not be eaten in one go, but spread throughout the day. From these 500 grams you can make a couple of meatballs, fry fish in the oven or on the grill, cook stews and even fish soup, which will consist of water, spices and fish.
An example of a menu might look like this:
- Breakfast: boiled perch fillet (cod, hex or pikeperch);
- Lunch: lean fish (such as carp) fried with dill and parsley or silver carp fillets chops;
- Snacks: fish cutlets, fish in a double pot or fish soup (without vegetables, only spices and herbs);
- Dinner: boiled pikeperch or grilled fish.
The second petal
You can treat yourself to a whole 1, 500 grams of vegetables and herbs. It is better if they are vegetables with a low glycemic index: zucchini, cauliflower, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkin. It's not just canned because sugar is added there.
Of course, you don't have to limit yourself to salads and raw vegetables. You can make a stew, casserole or just drink a glass of vegetable juice, of course, without buying in the store.
- Breakfast: grated carrots with cinnamon or vanilla;
- Lunch: vegetable stew or mashed potatoes, vinaigrette;
- Snacks: boiled potatoes, stewed cabbage or steamed vegetables;
- Dinner: salad, grilled vegetables.
On the third day, 500 grams of chicken meat will be awarded. Why the prize? Yes, because a lot of delicious and nutritious things can be made from this amount. By the way, spices and herbs can be included in the diet indefinitely on any day of the diet.
Suitable options for dishes would be boiled chicken or fried, chicken broth.
- Breakfast: boiled chicken fillet;
- Lunch: foil-fried chicken breast;
- Snacks: chicken broth or grilled chicken;
- Dinner: boiled chicken fillet.
Cereal Day. Absolutely any cereal, but not more than 200 grams (before cooking). You can choose one type and stick to it or cook several cereals for yourself all day long. It is best to choose wild rice, millet, buckwheat, oatmeal.
- Breakfast: oatmeal on the water;
- Lunch: buckwheat porridge on the water with spices;
- Snacks: rice porridge on the water with sesame seeds;
- Dinner: buckwheat porridge with greens.
You should eat 500 grams of cottage cheese a day. Better, of course, if it's not particularly greasy. In addition, you can drink kefir, low-fat yogurt or milk.
- Breakfast: non-fat cottage cheese with yoghurt;
- Lunch: non-fat cottage cheese with milk;
- Snacks: non-fat cottage cheese without additives;
- Dinner: non-fat cottage cheese with yogurt.
At your disposal 1500 grams of any fruit. You can eat them raw, make a salad or drink juice. It is up to you.
You can drink tea and mineral water all day, but turn off your coffee or keep your consumption to a minimum. Yes, sugar must be given up.
- Breakfast: two red apples with a cup of green tea;
- Lunch: one banana and three kiwis;
- Snacks: a bunch of grapes and an orange;
- Dinner: two green apples.
No, it is not an optical illusion. And, yes, you read the name of the diet correctly. There are really six petals, and you need to change six diets, but it's as important as getting out of your diet. The day you realize you can do it all.
The key to this day is not so much to relax to recover half of what was lost. Someone recommends phasing out and advising you to eat only the foods you have been eating for the time being, with only a small increase in your portions.
Proponents of radical methods say that the easiest way is not for us and recommend spending the seventh day only on the water. Which of these two options do you prefer - choose for yourself.
Of course, you can just nod your hand and dive into the world of delicious cake again.
Why a diet is good
Will this diet help you if you decide to lose weight? Definitely yes, the Swedes did their best. If you try, you will lose weight at 0, 6 - 0, 9 kg per day.
Can you survive without damage? Also a positive answer. The diet is quite simple and allows you to eat so much that you do not look at a piece of bread with longing and nostalgia.
However, despite all its effectiveness, "6 petals" still does not solve the problem of your future diet. It will take six days of diet and you will return to your normal diet, and it will return the kilograms you have lost. Therefore, even if you follow this diet, it is best to see it as an opportunity to take a step towards a healthier future.
