What does Sweden associate you with? The Battle of Poltava, the ABBA Group, the Swedish Family or the Swedish Wall? And it is also the birthplace of Anna Johansson, a doctor who has made a real revolution in nutrition by introducing a diet such as the "6-petal diet".
The essence of diet
You can calm down immediately, you do not have to eat only six petals a day, the diet is more varied and in principle does not include eating flowers. Although Dr. Johansson promises that in a week after her diet you can lose 5 kg, which seems like an incredible result.
One petal is one day of the diet, when you can eat only a certain amount of one type of food. The order of the days is important, so you can even draw a flower with six petals, write down the number and serial number on each menu and follow the recommendations.
That, by the way, is the convenience of this diet. No need to guess what to eat. You clearly know your diet for the next few days.
This is somewhat monodized, but the body does not have time to get used to one type of food and switch to energy-saving mode. In addition, studies have shown that monodiets lasting less than a day are most effective for burning fat.
The results of this diet are achieved by changing protein and carbohydrates and reducing the number of calories consumed. Eat one type of food every day and do not mix protein with carbohydrates, which allows you to break down fat more efficiently.
How can you cook
Food can be cooked, stewed, fried or steamed, but it is strictly forbidden to fry or add oil. In addition, the author recommends limiting coffee consumption to 1-2 small cups a day. Of course, without sugar. According to her, tea or mineral water without gas is better to drink at least 1, 5 liters per day. But under no circumstances should you drink liquid food only 30 minutes before or an hour after a meal.
And so that the feeling of hunger does not overcome you, divide the whole dish into 4-5 receptions. And you don't have to stick to certain intervals. Wanted to eat? Went and ate. Well, or drank green tea.
You can follow a diet for two weeks in a row. But don't forget to take a break of at least two weeks before your next attempt.
Against this background, the diet is contraindicated:
- Pregnant woman;
- breastfeeding mothers;
- With diseases of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, endocrine system (especially diabetes);
- With anemia;
- With infections or immediately after illness;
- Exacerbation of any chronic disease.
And yet, although this is not a direct contraindication, you will find it difficult to follow such a diet if you work. So it's better to set it aside for vacation.

seventh petal
No, it is not an optical illusion. And, yes, you read the name of the diet correctly. There are really six petals, and you need to change six diets, but it's as important as getting out of your diet. The day you realize you can do it all.
The key to this day is not so much to relax to recover half of what was lost. Someone recommends phasing out and advising you to eat only the foods you have been eating for the time being, with only a small increase in your portions.
Proponents of radical methods say that the easiest way is not for us and recommend spending the seventh day only on the water. Which of these two options do you prefer - choose for yourself.
Of course, you can just nod your hand and dive into the world of delicious cake again.
Why a diet is good
Will this diet help you if you decide to lose weight? Definitely yes, the Swedes did their best. If you try, you will lose weight at 0, 6 - 0, 9 kg per day.
Can you survive without damage? Also a positive answer. The diet is quite simple and allows you to eat so much that you do not look at a piece of bread with longing and nostalgia.
However, despite all its effectiveness, "6 petals" still does not solve the problem of your future diet. It will take six days of diet and you will return to your normal diet, and it will return the kilograms you have lost. Therefore, even if you follow this diet, it is best to see it as an opportunity to take a step towards a healthier future.
